Weddings have been called a new chapter, the start of a new story, the beginning of an adventure together. Some couples look at it romantically, and yet others take it more literally…
Even though they have been together for four amazing years already,Shannon and Fernando REALLY turned their wedding into the beginning of a new adventure together. They incorporated their love for animals and motorcycles into their big day. Their reception was held at the Milwaukee County Zoo, and Fernando was sure to get some portraits with his second love.
They did opt for the romantic, classic church wedding to honor their beliefs, but that did not stop them from starting their day on a Harley and ending their day with the bears (and not the football team, I mean real, live bears!!)
Throughout the day they were surrounded by nearly 300 guests (animals included!) to help them celebrate in their newest adventure. Shannon’s sister, Megan, was at her side all day as her Maid of Honor, while Nathan, the best man and Fernando’s long time friend, was Fernando’s wing man and accomplice for the day.
Even the craziest of adventures needs to have a little down time, and that is especially true on the wedding day. Our couple agreed that a little alone time, away from all the rush and craziness of the wedding day, was exactly what they needed. As the sun began to set on their wedding day, the couple took some time to themselves to walk through the zoo and visit the animals.
Shannon and Fernando definitely started their marriage out in a fun way, and are ready for even more fun on their honeymoon. They will be enjoying a 2.5 week adventure in Germany, Switzerland, Australia and Italy before heading back home.
Congratulations Shannon and Fernando – the Vital Image team was ecstatic to help you get your adventure off the ground!
